Amélie Saillez is making her first incursion into long-format documentary behind the camera with “The Kingdom of Mister Edhi” after 10 years working in the non-fiction field in production, distribution, content development and assistant directing. Belgian by birth, Amélie Saillez got her Masters in Visual Anthropology from Goldsmiths College of the University of London. After that, she directed her first short documentary “Catapoum”. “The Kingdom of Mister Edhi” is to be her first full-length documentary.
Tone Andersen studied film at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design in England. She has worked with documentary film since 2002, and is a filmmaker and cinematographer with vast experience from the Middle East. She was the DOP of the award winning “A stone’s thrown away” (2003) and “USA vs. Al-Arian”(2007). She is currently directing her feature documentary “The Return”, set in the West Bank, set for release autumn 2012.
